A long women's Twist turban sewn from a shimmering pleated shawl in shades of purple. The regular, fine folds of the material create a rhythmic, three-dimensional texture that makes the turban decorative even before it's draped.

The pleats work beautifully with the turban's form. Depending on how you tie it, you can emphasize the orderly rhythm of the folds or let them fall more freely, creating more playful wraps. The purple palette and the striking texture of the fabric make the turban a potential centerpiece of your whole outfit.

Thanks to the Twist construction with two removable copper wires, you can arrange the turban in under a minute — as full head coverage, a wide headband, a bow or a tall, decorative wrap.

Care

Before washing, remove the two copper wires and turn the turban inside out.

Because of the pleats, I recommend gentle hand washing in cool water, without rubbing, wringing or strong spinning. Dry naturally without stretching the pleats. Avoid ironing directly on the pleated surface so as not to flatten its texture.

Once dry, put the wires back in and turn the turban right side out.
