What called to me

This turban began its story in a completely different form. It was a shawl woven in Nepal from a blend of pashmina and silk, and it caught my attention with its noble composition and handcrafted roots.

When it arrived in my studio, I immediately imagined how divine a head would feel wrapped in such softness and lightness at once.

I sewed it into a long Twist turban, especially recommended for fall, when mornings are chilly, the sun comes out in the afternoon, and in the evening you need something to wrap your head again.

That's when you'll appreciate what pashmina can do. When it's cold, cashmere helps keep warmth close to the body, and when it gets warmer, it lets the skin breathe and helps avoid overheating. Combined with silk, it makes a soft, light fabric that is a perfect alternative to a hat.

And this pink? It definitely has no intention of fading into the background. It can beautifully lift even the simplest outfit.
